Belarus and Moldova discuss plans to resume flight services between two countries

Belarus’ Ambassador to Moldova, Sergei Chichuk met with Moldova’s Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure, Serghei Bucataru to discuss cooperation in transport and development of the legal framework.

Two significant topics were tackled during the said meeting. The two sides examined the possibility of resuming air services between Belarus and Moldova and its benefits.

Also discussed were the prospects of liberalizing the bilateral and transit road freight transport between the countries.

The Moldovan government ratified the start of the negotiations on the draft protocol to tweak the Belarusian-Moldovan intergovernmental agreement on international road transport of April 4 1994 and to the additional protocol on its application aimed at liberalizing the market of road transport between the two countries.
