Czech Republic and China sign Memorandum of Cooperation on general aviation

Representatives of the Czech Republic and China have agreed to a Memorandum of Cooperation to improve bilateral cooperation in general aviation.

The document was signed by Advisor of the President of the Czech Republic, Jan Kohout, and a senior official from Chengdu, the capital of Southwest China’s Sichuan province.

The touchpoints and common interests in the document were aircraft manufacturing, light aircraft trade, construction of the general aviation airports, development of air traffic systems, flying security management, and flight personnel training programs.

Representatives of Czech and Chinese aviation enterprises, including Chengdu International Railways Co Ltd and Czech Metrans Inc., among others, have signed a Protocol of Intentions lining up the above prospects.

New Silk Road Institute Prague (NSRIP) and Chengdu Municipal People’s Government in cooperation with the Sino-Czech Aviation Association, hosted the landmark event.
