Qatar and Nicaragua sign Open Skies Air Transport Agreement

Qatar and Nicaragua have signed an Open Skies Air Transport Agreement that would allow the national carrier to operate an unlimited number of passenger and cargo flights, with full traffic rights.

The Agreement was signed by Abdulla bin Nasser Turki Al-Subaey, the Chairman of Qatar’s Civil Aviation Authority and Carlos Salazar Sanchez, the Director General of the Nicaraguan Civil Aviation Authority.

The signing happened on the sidelines of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Next Generation of Aviation Professionals (NGAP) Global Summit, which was recently held at the ICAO’s headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
