Nigeria commits to participating in CORSIA

Nigeria has confirmed their participation in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) global market-based measure (MBM): Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), which will commence its pilot phase in 2021. The United States State Department has announced that the US government remains undecided if they will remain committed to the global aviation emissions agreement that was initiated by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
