Philippines and UAE set to sign agreement that would allow flights to southern city of Davao

Philippine carriers are targeting India as a new growth market with flights between the two nations set to resume next year. PAL sees entry of strategic investor within 2017

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is hopeful that negotiations with a strategic investor regarding a stake in the Philippines’ flagship carrier will be completed later in the year. PAL President and Chief Operating Offier Jaime J. Bautista said that the company is willing to give up a stake equivalent to a maximum percentage allowed by law.
