UAE’s GCAA signs several MoUs during ICAO conference

The United Arab Emirates’ General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) disclosed that it has signed numerous Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Brazil, Sri Lanka, Gambia, Nigeria, and the UK, during the International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) conference. According to the UAE’s civil aviation regulator, a delegation graced the said gathering and inked agreements with Switzerland and Ghana. 77 countries attended the ICAO conference and discussed the organization of air transportation’s policies.

Switzerland plans to connect Swiss and EU emissions trading schemes

Switzerland harbors plans to add aviation to its current emissions trading scheme (ETS) and to connect the Swiss and EU ETS.
