Uzbekistan and India working to boost aviation ties

Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to India, Farhod Arziev, has vowed to increase the frequency of flights between the two nations in 2018.

Arziev made the bold promise during an engaging session on “Investment Opportunities” that was organized by the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).

“Arziev announced setting up of a Special Economic Zone in Uzbekistan especially for Indian pharmaceutical companies which are keen to set up manufacturing facilities in Uzbekistan,” BRICS CCI revealed in a statement.

Arziev also spoke about streamlining its visa organization. The ambassador promised to reduce its tourist visa–related administrative fee for visitors soon, the CCI added.
