Sri Lanka and Canada set to sign Air Services Agreement

The Sri Lankan Cabinet of Ministers has given the green light on the signing of an Air Services Agreement with Canada.

The air services pact is expected to provide an avenue to promote trade as well as tourism between the two nations. Although there’s a huge contingent of Sri Lankan expatriates in Canada, there is no Air Services Agreement between both countries.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the proposal, which was put forward by the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva. Signing the monumental agreement would formalize air services between the two countries.
