Mauritius signs multiple Bilateral Air Services Agreements with various countries

The delegation of Mauritius that attended the International Conference on Air Services Negotiations Event (ICAN) 2017 in Sri Lanka had a fruitful stint as they finalized air service talks with six countries. These were Chile, Ghana, Morocco, Namibia, Russian Federation and Lao People’s Democratic Republic. International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) President Dr. Olumuyiwa Benard Aliu paid a visit to Mauritius to attend the 27th Airports Council International Africa/World Conference. Mauritius signs Bilateral Air Services Agreement with Portugal

Mauritius and Portugal have signed a Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) at the Treasury Building at the Mauritian capital of Port Louis. Portuguese Ambassador to Mauritius, Maria Amelia Maio de Paiva, and Mauritian Secretary to Cabinet and Head of the Civil Service, N. K. Ballah, signed the BASA. Emirates extends Memorandum of Understanding with Mauritius and Seychelles

Emirates has renewed its global marketing agreements with Mauritius and Seychelles by extending its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the respective tourism boards of the two island nations. Emirates began operations to Mauritius back in September of 2022 with three weekly flights. Mauritius and the Kingdom of Swaziland Agree to a Bilateral Air Services Agreement

Mauritius has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and initialed a Bilateral Air Services Agreement with the Kingdom of Swaziland, which they hope will spur passenger traffic and commercial opportunities for the two countries. Seychelles Tourism Minister bats for daily flights with Mauritius

Seychelles Tourism Minister Maurice Loustau-Lalanne is calling for more flights between his country and Mauritius, in an effort to further promote tourism within the islands.
